A Promising Recovery Turned Tragic
‘The Walking Dead’ actress Kelley Mack is gone at just 33, after a shocking turn in her cancer relapse. In February, she received treatment for glioma, a rare nervous system cancer, and responded well initially.
According to her family, Kelley enjoyed a strong recovery and even returned to voiceover work. But weeks before her death, her cancer suddenly returned and spread quickly.
The Kelley Mack cancer relapse came without warning. Her rep said she was still auditioning in early June and had filmed a Rakuten ad in April with her mom.
Final Days Spent With Loved Ones
As her condition worsened, Kelley spent meaningful time with close friends and family. She told her team she needed rest in July. No one expected her passing would come so soon.
On August 2, Kelley Mack died peacefully with her mother and aunt at her side. Her family was devastated by the sudden loss.
Her final film, Universal, is currently being shown at festivals. It was complete in 2024.
