Bangladesh Army provides all-round security support for Rath Yatra celebrations

Joint forces provided security for the Rath Yatra of traditional religious followers of Bangladesh Dhaka, June 27, 2025 (Friday): Today, Hindus from all over the country celebrated the Rath Yatra festival of Sri Sri Jagannath Dev with great enthusiasm and religious solemnity. This traditional annual festival is celebrated with colorful processions, religious rituals and social gatherings in various cities and upazilas of the country, including the capital Dhaka. Thousands of devotees and common people participate in devotional music (kirtan), cultural performances and traditional rituals in the procession.
Considering the huge gathering of devotees and visitors surrounding the festival, the Bangladesh Army has laid special emphasis on overall security and smooth management. The Army, in coordination with the local administration and organizers, plays an active role in ensuring that the event is conducted peacefully and in an orderly manner.
Bangladesh Army extends warm greetings and congratulations to all Hindu citizens on the occasion of Rath Yatra. This festival will spread the message of peace, harmony and brotherhood among all.
