3 arrested with Yaba in a separate operation of the Chittagong Narcotics Control Department
MD Babul from Bangladesh was Arrested with Yaba.
Under the overall supervision of the Honorable Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Department, Chittagong Metro, Mr. Humayun Kabir Khandaker, a team led by Inspector Mr. Mohammad Nure Alam arrested the accused, Md. Syed (70) with 2,900 pieces of Yaba in a drive at Muradpur More area under Panchlaish Police Station of Chittagong Metro at around 04:30 in the afternoon and filed a case.
Accused – (01) Md. Syed (70) (arrested with Yaba), father: deceased Abul Hossain, mother: deceased Anwara Begum, Sang: Pallampara, Enam Member’s house, Ward No. 04, Police Station: Teknaf, District: Cox’s Bazar.
And a team led by Sub-Inspector Mr. Gopal Krishna Das conducted a raid at around 08:00 in the Station Road area under Chittagong Metro Kotwali Police Station and arrested the accused, Md. Lutfar Rahman (44), with 1,000 pieces of Yaba and filed a case.
Accused – (01) Md. Lutfar Rahman (44) (arrested with Yaba), father: deceased Abdul Sattar, mother: Mocha: Latiful Begum, wife: Mocha: Mou Begum, village: Bhagdaria, Lutfar Rahman’s house, Ward No. 09, Phulbari Union Parishad, Thana: Gobindaganj, District: Gaibandha.
A team led by Sub-Inspector Mr. Gopal Krishna Das arrested the accused, Md. Jasim Uddin (32), along with 2,000 pieces of Yaba in a raid at the Keside Road area under Chittagong Metro Kotwali Police Station at around 09:00 PM and filed a case.
Accused – (01) Md. Jasim Uddin (32) (arrested with Yaba), Father: Ezahar Mia, Mother: Nurjahan Begum, Wife: Aleya Sultana, Sang: Rabeta, (Hakim Ali’s father’s house), East Dhechua Palong, Ward No. 04, Khunia Palong Union Parishad, Thana: Ramu, District: Cox’s Bazar.
A total of 5,900 pieces of Yaba tablets have been recovered from them. A case has been registered against them under the Narcotics Control Act and sent to the court.
