RAB has already been able to gain the trust of the people by arresting criminals in the fastest possible time through the continuity of intelligence surveillance and operational activities. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 has arrested 141 sensational criminals, 15 ARSA members, 144 people in murder cases, 62 people in rape cases, 19 people in weapons-related cases, 92 weapons, 1293 rounds of ammunition and more than 339 drug dealers in various operations in the areas under its responsibility since August 05, 2024. RAB-11. In addition, 62 victims were rescued including 61 kidnappers, 66 robbers and robbers, 38 jail escapees, 15 fraud suspects and other criminals were arrested and brought under the law, earning the reputation of the people by RAB-11.
An operational team of RAB 11, CPSC, Adamjinagar, Narayanganj conducted a raid in Madanpur area of Bandar Police Station in Narayanganj district and arrested 03 drug dealers along with 30.5 kg of marijuana. During this, 01 pickup vehicle and 01 motorcycle used for transporting the said drugs were seized. The arrested are the driver of the pick-up Imran (23), father-Ismail Khan, resident-Gadikata, Police Station-Kazirhat, District-Barisal, pick-up helper Md. Alamgir (25), father-Soleman Fakir, Sang- Moghia, Thana- Kachua, District- Bagerhat, and the motorcycle driver Md. Masum (28), father- Harun Mia, Sang- Shah Daulatpur, Thana- Sadar Dakshin, District- Comilla.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested accused 1. Imran (23), 2. Md. Masum (28), 3. Md. Alamgir (25) ‘in collusion with each other, evaded the law and order forces and brought 30.5 kg of illegal drugs from Comilla district in a seized pick-up truck for the purpose of sale. Based on specific information, a smart operation team of RAB 11, CPSC Company, Narayanganj conducted a check post operation on the Chittagong to Dhaka highway in front of Rafi Filling Station at Madanpur, Bandar Thana, Narayanganj district on July 20, 2025 at 14:00 hrs. The accused were arrested red-handed with the above-mentioned evidence. During the initial interrogation of the arrested accused, it was revealed that they had conspired with each other to bring the seized narcotics and ganja from Comilla and kept them in their custody for the purpose of selling. Among them, Imran was the driver of the said pick-up and Md. Alamgir was the helper. Imran and Md. Alamgir loaded the seized narcotics and ganja from Comilla into the pick-up and left for Dhaka. At this time, Md. Masum took a motorcycle and guided the pick-up vehicle to deliver the ganja to Dhaka without their eyes, informing them about the location of the law enforcement agencies. They were arrested red-handed with the seized evidence from the time and place mentioned later.
The arrested accused have been handed over to the Bandar Police Station for further legal action.
